The 'Bus ETA Chain Text'

It's super frustrating waiting in the cold not knowing if the bus is 2 minutes or 20 minutes away! My idea is a simple, volunteer-run 'Bus ETA Chain Text' for each route. Basically, a WhatsApp or Signal group for students on a specific bus. The first student to see or board the bus at its initial stop sends a quick message: 'Bus [Route #] just left [Initial Stop] @ [Time].' Then, as the bus progresses, students at other key stops could give quick updates like 'Bus [Route #] just passed [Landmark]!' or 'Bus [Route #] is running ~5 mins late from [Stop Name].' It's not fancy, but it could give us real-time, peer-to-peer updates without needing any new tech infrastructure. Just us helping each other out!
